Tabs are created automatically based on the unique categories from all the Wheel data. For each unique category there will be one tab.

  •  What do all the items in the ‘Edit’ or ‘Add’ Wheel Screen mean?

Wheel Title – This is the main title of the Wheel you are editing or adding. It will show up in the Main Screen as an item under a tab.

Category – This is used to group ‘Wheel Titles’ together. An example would be having lots of Wheel Titles all related to ‘Food’. All of the unique categories from all Wheels will show up as a tab in the Main Screen.

Items from list will be placed in Wheel – This will control how the items are placed initially in the Wheel ‘slices’. You can choose either ‘Randomly’ which will randomly place each item into a slice or ‘Sequentially’ which will place the items in the Wheel as they appear in the list.

Wheel will start with – This will control which slice is ‘at the top’ of the Wheel when it is first shown. You can choose either ‘Random Item’ which will start with a random place on the Wheel or ‘First Item’ which will start with the first item in the list.

Wheel Items – This is the list of items that will be placed into the Wheel.

Here is an example of adding a Wheel.

  •  How do I import my own list?

In order to import a list you can use the ‘copy – paste’ feature to copy an existing list to the “Wheel Items” edit box in the Add or Edit Wheel dialog.  For example, you could send yourself a list via e-mail where the body of the message is a list you want to import.  Each list item should be separated with a new line.  Then, open the email on the device and ‘long press’ in the body of the message.  You can then ‘select all’ and then ‘copy’.  Next load SpinTheWheel, go to the Add or Edit Wheel, ‘long click’ in the Wheel Items edit area and then select ‘Paste’.

The Menu button was removed on the Samsung Galaxy S5 and replaced by a “Show Recent / Open Apps” button.  To bring back the Menu button on the Galaxy S5 just hold the “Show Recent / Open Apps” button which is located left to the Home Button.
